Terry Musalata’s timeless classic, Baby in a Blender, is widely accepted to be the story that created the entire ‘babies in blenders’ genre, and despite a plethora of books following in its wake, remains the pivotal extreme horror tale of newly born infants and kitchen appliances.

Following protests from governments, religious bodies, and various human rights groups, Baby in a Blender was withdrawn from sale in 1982 and only resurfaces today as a part of the new Godless Extreme Horror imprint.

Musalata now works as a door-to-door kitchen appliance salesman, although rumours indicate he has dusted off his pencils to work on a film adaptation of his still revered masterpiece.

Cringe

The author tried way too hard to be disgusting and create something gorey. He tried to add as many morally wrong things as he could for shock value but they just came out as something an edgy teenager would write. There was a part at the ending of the story that could've been used for something interesting but wasn't. It was my fault for expecting any good writing

What is red and pink and goes 100 mph?

this book. So fast paced. Very enjoyable. Was is disgusting? yes. was it disturbing? Not really - for me to be disturbing, it has to sit in the back of my mind for days after. That being said, if you like vivid descriptions - you will love it. Be warned because you really get what you ask for in the title.

Oh Lord my brain

Mate, I will admit I have a demented sense of humour and it's hard to push my buttons. But lord knows this story was hard to stomach, right from the first paragraph it's all out sick and twisted from the get go. Twenty pages of brutality, incest and all out hills have eyes vibes with this family. As Terry proclaims all out war on your senses, testing readers to the limit until the bitter end. I need a hot shower to burn the remnants of this story off my skin.
